A Little Dark Comedy Never Killed Anyone
It’s funny how the shorter a project’s runtime is, the more challenging it can be to plan out and execute. For this project, we had a fixed runtime of 15 seconds, so every single shot had to be filmed with very specific timing. The amazing Jordan Harker did a phenomenal job writing this video and envisioning how it would all come together before we started rolling.
I loved the challenge of lighting and filming a comedy/suspense mashup, trying to make it lighthearted yet moody. I think it came together nicely and I still laugh every time I watch it.
